DASSK was cross questioned by the judges. Diplomats and some journalists were allowed. DASSK submitted a written statement and insisted her innocence.
More international outcry comes out. This time also joins even China in the name of ASEM – the 9th Asia - Europe Meeting - which was held in Hanoi, Vietnam. Foreign ministers call for the release of DASSK and all other political prisoners.
House arrest was officially lifted. The authority said that they had planned to release her and that faces with no surprise by the international community. This kind of international attention and pressure is quite significant and has never happened before.
